There are loads of portfolios you can do like;

What are their Advantages and Disadvantages?

- can not see texture, real size etc...

1. Why do you have to select work for a portfolio?

You would not put all the pieces in your portfolio because it will be too big. Choose pieces that represent you as an artist. This is a story of how your design was created and you as an artist have developed and used new skills.

2. Should you include finished work only?

NO!!! The reason why is because you may want to show how your workings and developing ideas have improved or been adapted. This is imported when going to interviews.

3. Why can portfolios be used for?

This porfolio can be used for interviews, jobs, art exhibitions or even just for pleasure of looking at.

4. Do you need to include any written information?

YES!!! This can sometimes give you more infomation than the piece of art, for example; modern art. Some artist work are explanitory, for example; traditional art.

5. How can you tell what is your strongest work?

Only you as a person can know what is your strongest work, you feel in your heart and soul, you know this is one of your best pieces of work. Nobody can tell you its not, its how you feel about it that counts.

Can you find example of these?
